Terms of Service

These terms took effect on 20 October 2026, the date they were last revised.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Chat GTT. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set the conditions for accessing and using the meme video templates provided at chatgtt.video (the "Service"). Using the Service means you accept these Terms; if you do not accept them, please stop using it.

2. Service Description

Chat GTT provides fixed video templates. You choose a template and upload one photo, and the Service generates a vertical (9:16) clip that follows a scene we scripted in advance. With the person template, you upload one clear photo of yourself and the Service generates a clip in which you play the customer whose card is declined at a store checkout. With the dog template, you upload one photo of your dog and the Service generates a clip in which your dog acts out the same scene at a store counter. The credit cost of a render is shown before it starts. There is no prompt box, no text-to-video mode and no standalone image generation. Templates may be added, changed or withdrawn; if we introduce a different kind of tool, updated Terms will cover it before it launches. Generating a clip requires a signed-in account and sufficient credits from a plan or pack. Until launch, the makers are available only through a waitlist, and once open, rendering may be unavailable during maintenance or while a connected model provider is offline.

Chat GTT is an independent, fan-made template site that works as an interface on top of infrastructure and AI models supplied by third parties. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to OpenAI or ChatGPT, TikTok, CapCut or the creator of the original meme video, and none of them sponsor it; "ChatGPT" is a trademark of OpenAI. The Service does not host, reuse or sell the original meme footage; the picture in every clip it delivers is newly generated, and the clip is set to the trend's original audio. Clips are produced by third-party AI model providers that process your photo only to make your clip, currently GPT Image 2 (OpenAI), Seedance 2.5 (ByteDance) and Gemini (Google), reached through the API service Kie.ai; our Privacy Policy explains how these providers handle your data. Which providers we use, and their names, features and availability, may change, and unless we state otherwise those providers have no affiliation with Chat GTT and do not endorse it.

Output from AI models can be wrong, incomplete or unexpected, and it may resemble content generated for someone else. Check each clip before you rely on it, post it or share it.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be legally able to enter into an agreement of this kind. If you act for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it.
• Keep your account details and billing information accurate and up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for everything done through your account.
• Tell us right away at support@chatgtt.video if you think another person has accessed your account.

4. User Content and Intellectual Property

You retain whatever rights you lawfully have in your uploaded photos and in the clips you create. You are responsible for ensuring that your uploads, and the way you use the results, are lawful and respect intellectual property, privacy, publicity and other rights. Above all, you may upload only photos you have the right to use: a picture of yourself, of your own pet, or of an adult who has consented to being featured in a clip. Photos of minors are not permitted. Never pass off a generated clip as genuine footage of any person, store or company. We ask you to label your posts as AI-generated, using the platform's AI label wherever one is offered.

So that we can generate, store and show your clips, you grant Chat GTT and the providers it works with a non-exclusive, limited license to host, reproduce, process, transmit and display what you upload and what the Service generates, only for operating, securing, troubleshooting and supporting the Service. You keep ownership of your lawful content; this license gives us no title to it.

The Service, meaning its software, branding, interface, original site content and documentation, is owned by Chat GTT or its licensors. You may not copy, scrape, resell, reverse engineer or exploit it commercially except where the law allows or we have agreed in writing.

5. Subscriptions, Credits, Billing, and Cancellation

• Billing authorization: Buying credits or a subscription authorizes the payment provider displayed at checkout to charge the stated price, any applicable taxes and any recurring fees that were disclosed to you.
• Automatic renewal: Plans billed monthly or annually roll over into a new period automatically unless you switch renewal off. You will see the billing interval and price before paying.
• Cancellation: Cancel through the subscription management portal or the cancel option found in the account or pricing area. Cancellation ends future renewals and usually becomes effective when the current paid period finishes.
• Credits: The number of credits a render consumes depends on the template and settings you choose. Credits belong to the account that bought them and expire in line with the terms shown at checkout or on the pricing page.
• Payment processing: Waffo Pancake, or the processor shown on the checkout page, handles payments. Card details are sent directly to that provider and are never stored on our servers.
• Refunds: Our Refund Policy sets out who qualifies and how to ask. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights.

If you think a charge is wrong, please write to support@chatgtt.video before raising a payment dispute so that we can look into it.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

What follows is our Acceptable Use Policy. It governs each upload, each generated clip and any attempt to work around our safety measures.

You must not upload or generate, or assist anyone else in uploading or generating, anything in these categories:

1. Sexual or NSFW content: Nudity, pornography, sexually explicit or suggestive clips, fetish content or sexual services. Zero tolerance applies to any grooming or exploitation of minors, to sexualized depictions of minors and to child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
2. Violent or graphic content: Gore, torture, graphic injuries, glorifying violence, terrorism, violent extremism, how-to guidance for weapons of mass destruction, or material meant to threaten or enable physical harm.
3. Hateful or abusive content: Material that attacks, harasses or dehumanizes people because of a protected characteristic, or that encourages violence or discrimination against them.
4. Deceptive impersonation: Impersonation, identity fraud, non-consensual intimate imagery, misleading depictions of real people, or realistic fakes of real people intended to mislead viewers about where a clip came from or whether it is authentic. Using a photo of someone without their consent falls under this rule, so you need the agreement of anyone pictured in the photo you upload.
5. Intellectual-property or privacy violations: Material that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity or privacy rights, reveals confidential information, or breaches other personal or proprietary rights.
6. Illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activity: Material that is unlawful, facilitates scams or phishing, distributes malicious code, promotes regulated misconduct, takes advantage of vulnerable people, or is built to deceive or cause harm.

You further may not evade safety filters, probe or disrupt the security of the platform, automate unauthorized access, harvest outputs at scale, resell access without our consent, or use the Service in breach of applicable law or card-network rules.

7. Content Review, Reporting, and Enforcement

Automated safeguards check uploaded photos and generated results. These combine blocked-term lists, machine-learning safety classifiers and the moderation layer of each model provider. No automated system catches everything, so flagged or reported material may receive further review.

To report prohibited content, a suspected impersonation, a child-safety concern or an infringement, email support@chatgtt.video using the subject Content Report. Add the relevant URL or account details, explain the problem and attach any screenshots or other evidence. We aim to confirm receipt of reports within three business days, and reports about child safety or a credible threat of physical harm are dealt with first.

Based on severity, past conduct and applicable law, we may decline a request, block or take down content, restrict features, suspend or close an account, retain relevant records, or refer suspected illegal activity to the proper authorities. Accounts tied to terrorism, child exploitation, fraud, credible threats or non-consensual intimate imagery can be suspended without delay. You can appeal an enforcement decision by replying to the notice or by contacting support with the details.

8. Privacy

How we collect, use, keep and share personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you accept that your uploaded photos, along with related request data, may be passed to hosting, storage, safety and AI model providers when needed to carry out the template you selected.

9. Service Availability and Changes

Chat GTT is supplied "as is" and "as available", with no promises beyond those this page states. Model providers, features, credit prices, limits and availability can change. We may alter, pause or end parts of the Service for reasons of security, reliability, provider compatibility or legal compliance. We do not promise uninterrupted access or any specific outcome from a given photo or template.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the extent the law permits, we give no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of non-infringement, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and including any assurance that AI output is accurate. Do not rely on anything a model generates as financial, legal, medical or other professional advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Chat GTT and its affiliates, service providers and staff are not responsible for any special, indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill or business opportunities, arising out of the Service. Any right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains in effect.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any moment. We may limit, suspend or end access where we reasonably believe an account poses a security, fraud, abuse, payment, legal or policy risk. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle account closure and personal data deletion.

13. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated as the law, our providers or the Service evolve. Revised Terms will be posted on this page and dated at the top; where legally required, material changes will come with additional notice. Continuing to use the Service after a new version takes effect means you accept it.

14. Governing Law

The laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established govern these Terms, without displacing any mandatory consumer protections you are entitled to. Before bringing a formal claim, please contact us in writing so that we can try to settle the matter informally.
